The AO+ is a next generation ampoule opener, which requires no user contact with the glass ampoule during and after opening – thereby virtually eliminating sharps injuries. AO+ in addition helps prevent needle stick injury with its optional needle holding tower in the safety base system which is part of the AO+ system. Each AO+ is made to suit the individual size of an ampoule to ensure a clean break and your ultimate protection.

We manufacture AOP openers presently for the complete range of DIN ISO 9187 Ampoules, USA Wheaton ampoules and our growing number of models in the AOP MODEL LIBRARY : Drugs & Cosmetics and AOP MODEL LIBRARY : Reagents & Analytics.

AO+ is a two part system incorporating a safety holding/mounting base and a sealed opening chamber- the opener. The base is designed to hold the ampoule in a port safely at all times where the ampoule cannot fall over. In addition the base is designed to catch the opened neck in another port. This allows easy disposal of both the empty ampoule and neck in one simple action into a sharps container after all procedures have been completed. A needle cap holding system is an additional option that can be ordered for incorporation on the safety base. This is designed to hold the needle cap or needle vertically so it is easy to reinstall the cap or needle to prevent needle stick injury occurances.

AO+ is available in different configurations of single, double, tripple base holding capacitities and other custom designs to suit your procedural needs. AO+ can be made with a single size opener on it or dual types: like a 1 ml and 5 ml or other sizing needs. AO+ can be easily built to your specific sized ampoules within our fast custom manufacture abilities at Low cost and short turn around time of 72 hours.

Custom Orders:

To Custom Make an AOP for your ampoule, we need the following:

1. Samples of your ampoule/s sent to us. We require a minimum of 2-6 ampoules of each type shipped to our SHIPPING ADDRESS. Note: Your shipping fees will be refunded from your first order. Or

2. Accurate measurements of your ampoule/s per our instructions: MEASURING YOUR AMPOULE/S or the manufacturer specifications of the ampoule/s

3. Photos of your ampoule/s. or the manufacturer specifications of the ampoule/s.

This information as well as any special design needs and procedural requirement/s can be supplied to CUSTOM ORDERING.
